Sense Endurance Coaching is a coaching business based in the Netherlands. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch privacy law. 1. What We Collect
We collect contact information (name, email, phone number), communication data from forms and messages, payment information processed securely by third-party providers, newsletter sign-up details where you have opted in, and standard usage data including IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited. If you ask us to email a Race Card link, we process your email address and the public race-page path only. If you opt in to a personalised race-week briefing, we also retain your chosen race, race date and a derived pace and fuelling plan. We do not retain your FTP, body weight, threshold paces, percentile or the inputs used to calculate that plan.
2. Why We Collect It
Your data is used to deliver and manage coaching and training services, respond to enquiries, send newsletters and updates where you have consented, improve how the site functions, and meet any legal obligations we are subject to. A Race Card link request sends one requested email; it does not subscribe you to marketing. A race-week briefing is separately opt-in and double-confirmed. It sends two race-specific updates: seven days and 48 hours before the race, with the forecast, saved derived plan, course decisions and fuelling prompts. The legal bases we rely on are consent, contract performance, and legitimate interest.
3. How We Protect It
Data is stored securely with access restricted to those who need it. Race-week briefing email addresses and derived plans are encrypted before storage, and automatically deleted 30 days after the race. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every briefing.
4. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your data. Where necessary to operate our services, we share data with trusted third parties: Cloudflare for hosting, bot protection and encrypted race-week subscription storage, Resend for transactional email delivery, Stripe, PayPal, and iDEAL for payment processing, and Google Analytics for site usage. All processors are GDPR-compliant and act under our instructions. Race Card inputs, predicted ranges and percentile results are calculated in your browser and are not retained for a race-week briefing. Cloudflare stores the separately consented encrypted derived plan; Resend receives the email content needed to send each requested transactional message.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how it is processed, to withdraw consent at any time, and to request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use necessary site functionality and optional Google Analytics cookies to understand site usage. We do not use marketing cookies on this site. Analytics stays off until you grant consent. On your first visit, choose analytics or necessary cookies only. Use Cookie settings in the footer or this section at any time to change your choice or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops new analytics collection on the current page and future visits where your choice is saved, and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site. An analytics script already loaded may remain in memory, but collection is disabled. Data already sent, including requests already in progress, cannot be recalled by this control. Your choice is saved in browser storage. If your browser blocks saving it, we tell you that the change applies only to the current page; clear or block site data in your browser before leaving the page. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
7. International Transfers
Where data is transferred outside the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR requirements.
