Coaching
What can I expect from 1:1 coaching?
Sense Endurance Coaching gives you a personalised season plan, direct access to your coach, and regular feedback that keeps training moving in the right direction. You also get race strategy support so your fitness turns into a better race, not just better training numbers.
How often will I hear from my coach?
You’ll get ongoing feedback, and you can message whenever questions or changes come up. Communication isn’t limited to a once-a-week pat on the head.
Do I need to be at a certain level to work with you?
No. We coach everyone from first-timers to experienced qualifiers. The deciding factor is whether you’ll follow the process consistently.
How many athletes do you coach at once?
The squad is kept deliberately small. That’s how you get real attention and useful feedback, not generic comments and a rotating-door experience.
Training Plans
What’s the difference between a training plan and coaching?
A training plan gives you a proven structure to follow on your own. Coaching adds feedback, adjustments, and decision-making support when your life or training response shifts. The plan gives direction. Coaching keeps it on course.
Can I adjust a training plan after purchasing it?
Yes. You can move sessions around to fit your week. If you need more than reshuffling and you want the plan built around you, coaching is usually the better option.
Are your plans suitable for beginners?
Yes. There are plans for beginners, experienced age-groupers, and time-crunched athletes with limited hours. Pick the level that matches your current consistency, not your ego.
How are the plans delivered?
Plans are delivered via TrainingPeaks, so you can follow sessions on any device and track what you’ve done.
Racing and Strategy
Do you help with race strategy and execution?
Yes. Coached athletes get race plans built around their fitness, the course, and their goals. Training plan athletes get race guidance inside the plan, with the option to move into coaching if they want it more tailored.
Can you help me prepare for my first full distance?
Yes. We offer plans and coaching aimed at full-distance execution: building strength that lasts, pacing you can hold, and a calmer approach that doesn’t fall apart halfway through.
Do you offer support on race week?
Yes. Coached athletes get race-week guidance and adjustments if something changes.
Payments and Policies
How do I pay for coaching or plans?
Payments are handled securely via Stripe, PayPal, or iDeal. Training plans are one-off purchases through TrainingPeaks. Coaching is billed monthly.
Can I cancel coaching at any time?
Yes. Coaching is billed month to month. You can cancel at any time with 30 days’ written notice. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the final billing cycle.
Do you offer refunds on training plans?
Training plans are sold and delivered through TrainingPeaks. If you want a refund, you must submit a written request to TrainingPeaks within 24 hours of purchase with a detailed explanation; they assess requests case by case to protect the author’s intellectual property. If you simply bought the wrong plan, email me within 30 days and I’m happy to arrange an exchange to another plan from Sense Endurance Coaching.
General
Do I need devices to follow your plans?
It depends on the plan. You’ll need at least one of: heart rate monitor, GPS watch, a bike power meter, or a run power meter.
Do you work with international athletes?
Yes. Sense Endurance Coaching is fully remote and we coach athletes in multiple countries.
Can I switch from a training plan to coaching later on?
Yes. Many athletes start with a plan and move to coaching when they want more structure, accountability, and personal feedback.
Where can I learn more about your training philosophy?
The articles section is where the principles are explained properly, including how we prioritise strength, skill, and race execution
